There are a lot of blogs that have links to audio files that you can download for free. If you're a digital pirate then you may want to take a look at this one, it's called Music Blog of Saltyka.
About half way down the page (after all the bad '80s Boy George album) there are a ton a great Jazz albums for download.

Awesome!! There's like the entire Stan Getz discography posted on that site, not to mention all the weird German synth-pop albums you could ever want.
OK - dumb question, but i goota ask... Do I open or save file? Neither seems to work for me...???
There are links too download that take you to a free file hosting site called Rapidshare. Just click the Free User button and your file will download after a short wait.

www.dimeadozen.org (a bittorrent tracker) has many live jazz performances for free download, many fm broadcasts from Europe or audience captures that can be pretty good. I post some of them on my music blog which has jazz and other genres. No commercially released material. Please visit. Thanks,B
