Just wanted to note that I got to play with Francisco Mela for two days at a festival somewhere outside of Boston about 2 or 3 years ago. It was a fairly lame gig with a very strange bandleader who had mis-represented the bands style to get into the festival.. Kind of a nightmare BUT I remember just loving Francisco's touch and grooves. Turned a nightmare 2-day gig into a tolerable experience.
